In a small village in Nepal, where child marriage is still a harsh reality, students stood in front of hundreds of villagers and performed a street play saying
Bal Vivaah Band Karo—End Child Marriage.
They weren’t activists. They weren’t adults.
They were children—using their voice, confidence, and courage to address a problem that affects their lives.
That is Junoon.
Why Junoon Exists
Today, most schools agree that children need 21st-century skills like critical thinking, communication, creativity, and leadership.
Yet, very few schools have the time, structure, or resources to build these skills meaningfully.
As a result, children grow up:
- Prepared for exams, but not for life
- Taught what to think, not how to think
- Expected to comply, not lead
Junoon was created to change this.

What is Junoon
Junoon is a student leadership and skill-building platform designed to help children develop the skills they need to thrive in the real world, confidence, communication, critical thinking, creativity, and collaboration.
We work with schools and partner organisations to create structured, experiential learning journeys for children. Our programs help students move beyond passive learning and step into roles as thinkers, creators, and changemakers.
We do this through three core editions:
Junoon Create

Junoon Connect
Students build communication skills using tools like podcasts, zines, storytelling, and dialogue-based formats. This edition focuses on helping children find their voice, express ideas confidently, and listen with empathy.
Junoon Compete
Students participate in structured competitions across performing arts, visual arts, and literary arts, with 10 events that celebrate creativity, discipline, and expression. The focus is on effort, growth, and confidence—not just winning.
Junoon Celebrate
A curated showcase where students present the work they have built throughout the year, projects, ideas, and creative expressions developed through Junoon. Hosted within schools or community spaces and often aligned with annual days, it brings parents and educators together to witness learning beyond academics .
Through this process, children don’t just learn skills—they practice leadership.
How
Junoon Works
Junoon is not a one-time intervention. It is a structured ecosystem that:
Establishes student leadership committees
Trains teacher leaders & student leaders regularly on 21st-century skills
Creates platforms for showcasing work
Builds mentorship, peer learning, and continuity
All of this is supported by our tech platform, making Junoon easy to adopt and scale.
